Kasra In Translation View of The app
I would like to explain the difference between Fataha (فَ) and Kasra (كِ) when they come with a shaddah (شّ).
Few non-Arabic speaking people are only used to the writing of the Uthmani script of the Quran. Which we use in the Arabic view in the app. But if you switched to the translation view, you get a different font and that font renders Kasra with Shaddah differently than what the people are used to in the Uthmani script. They think it is a fataha not a kasra.
Let's look at an example to illustrate. So the Uthmani script used to write kasra with shaddah is 
while in the font we are using in the translation view renders the shaddah with kasra as in 
so let's also look at the fataha with kasrah in the translation font 
. So the difference is that the kasrah is written under the shaddah instead of under the letter itself and fataha is written above the shaddah. That's a totally valid way to write kasrah with shaddah.

We will try to use a different font that matches the way the Musahaf is doing it inshaa'Allah. But I think it is a very good opportunity to learn about this new technique Arabs use for drawing fataha and kasra.
