The Contact3 plugin has been completely refactored and extended with more new features.

New features

  • New and better admin interface
  • CC copy to visitors is possible incl. separate CC subject
  • GDPR text can be optionally inserted into the email
  • Three options for spam protection:
    -- Google reCaptcha v2
    -- hCaptcha
    -- An individual simple logical question

Further updates

  • Complete code refactoring
  • Removing the old Spam-Honey-Pot, because it didn't work reliably anymore
  • Language files have been updated so that English is always used for currently unsupported languages
  • Spanish was added (translated with deepl.com)

Compatibility with the previous version was achieved as far as possible. Since there are breaking changes in the spam protection, this must be reactivated after the update.
