I noticed this while working on something unrelated.

This ticket is about inconsistency within our system. In life, the only context in which I recall seeing - was when someone was applying multiple prefixes to the same base word; as in, pre- and post-event announcements. I don't recall having seen -. When using a hyphen as a delimiter (not when joining words), I've typically put a space on either side; as in, Submitted - Pending Review.
