It would be better to remove the Mercurial dependency altogether, now that Bitbucket Cloud no longer supports Mercurial. Bitbucket Data Center and Server (previously called Stash) has never supported it.

@dependabot apparently opened this pull request because of the CVE-2022-30948 fix in Mercurial plugin 2.16.1. The timing of the PR matches the latest update in the GitHub vulnerability database. I'm surprised it did not mark the PR as a vulnerability fix though; or perhaps that information is not visible to the public.
