Releases: eliasdoehne/stellaris-dashboard
Error handling and bugfixes
Some improvements in error handling:
- Attempt to reload broken save files (configurable number of attempts + delay between attempts)
This update is compatible with Stellaris 2.2.
As always, all bug reports are highly appreciated! You can message me on reddit, open a github issue, or start a new discussion topic in the Steam workshop page.
Special resource graphs and behind the scenes improvements
While this release doesn't add many features, I completely rewrote central parts of the application. This should mean stability improvements across the board and should also allow me to add features more easily going forward.
New features:
- Graphs for special resources
- Empty graphs are no longer drawn
This update is compatible with Stellaris 2.2. As far as I can tell, it should be compatible with databases generated by version 0.3, but I am not 100% sure.
As always, all bug reports are highly appreciated! You can message me on reddit, open a github issue, or start a new discussion topic in the Steam workshop page.

Stellaris 2.2 compatibility and additional graphs
This is the first release for the recent Stellaris 2.2 update. Most features from the previous versions should hopefully work.

- Budget graphs for consumer goods and alloys
- Option to control how many game states are read from the database (to improve responsiveness)
- General improvements of graphing and mod compatibility

Update: I accidentally included the database of one of my debug games with the Windows build. This has now been fixed.
Final release for Stellaris 2.1
This is the final release for Stellaris 2.1.
Changes:
- Added event type for scientists working as research leaders and improved the method of reading technology events
- Added plot size options to the settings menu
- Improved reading of save files: new files are immediately added to a read queue instead of processing them in batches
- Simplified the project structure and the install script to avoid installation issues by some users in Windows
- Compatibility with the planetary diversity mod
- Various bugfixes
This release is compatible with Stellaris 2.1 and with databases from the previous release v0.2.
Please let me know about any bugs or other feedback in the Steam Workshop forum:

Browsable event ledger and Ironman support
This version introduces a completely reworked event ledger, extending the basic leader biographies of previous releases. Recorded events include information about:
- Wars and combat logs
- Leaders and their actions/status
- Technologies, edicts, traditions, ascension perks
- Government and diplomatic relations
- Colonization, terraforming, ringworld & habitat construction
and quite a few more. The history can now be browsed by country, by leader, or by system. By default, the information shown depends on your diplomatic relations with the AI, but you can change that in the settings.
The second major change is compatibility with ironman mode. Currently the mod is also achievement-compatible, as far as I can tell.
This release is compatible with Stellaris 2.1.3. It is not compatible with databases from previous releases.
Other changes:
- Database files and other output is now stored in the same location as the stellarisdashboard program, in the
output
folder
Settings Menu, Bugfixes
This release introduces a settings page, allowing you to more easily configure the dashboard.
Two further bugs are fixed compared to v0.1.5-alpha:
- URLs to the timeline graphs now end with a trailing /, which is required in the most recent release of plotly, the graphing library used by the dashboard. URL's without the / should be redirected seamlessly.
- Checkboxes should now work correctly on the settings page
Additionally, the precompiled Cython extensions, which allow reading the save files much faster, should now work.
This release should be compatible with Stellaris 2.1.*, and with databases created by version 0.1.4 of the dashboard.
If you experience any issues, please let me know by opening a github issue, or a new discussion topic in the steam workshop.
Settings Menu
This release introduces a settings page, allowing you to more easily configure the dashboard.
Additionally, many bugs are fixed, which were introduced by changes in one of the dashboard's dependencies.
It is marked as a prerelease for two reasons:
- I cannot test it properly.
- There seems to be an issue with the optimized parsing, which I can only resolve next week. Please ignore any warnings related to "Using pre-built C-extension if available, or (slow) fallback solution."
I will test it and make a proper release next week, as soon as I have access my main computer.
If you experience any issues, please let me know by opening a github issue or a new discussion topic in the steam workshop.
This release should be compatible with Stellaris 2.1.*, and with databases created with version 0.1.4 of the dashboard.
