I added functions to compute kNDVI, pixel-wise sigma and median distance sigma from raster objects (RasterStack, RasterBrick and SpatRaster). This modification makes it possible to calculate the kNDVI from spatial data in an efficient manner. Happy to close this PR but I thought I'd share in case its useful to someone else.
