Parties
When you're playing with friends or organising a server clan and want to work together to complete tasks, you'll want to setup a questing party. When first opening the screen you'll see a list of active invites on the right and the option to create a new party on the left. This is also the screen where you can check the amount of lives you or your party have remaining if hardcore mode is active on your server.
You will want to enter the name of your party BEFORE you click CREATE PARTY. Once you've created or joined a party the screen will instead show the following:
There are a few options on this page, some may only be available to the party host. If you are the party host, you can change the name of the party. Just type in a new name and hit the REFRESH button. You can also leave the party, invite new players and kick inactive party members.
In the event the host abandons the party, a host migration will occur where the player who's been a member the longest will be chosen as the new host.
Note: Even if edit mode is enabled, server operators do not have the ability to tamper with questing parties. It is up to the party host and it's members to govern how the party should function. Operators however do have the power to manipulate party lives if the target user is part of one that is sharing.
WARNING: If you leave or are kicked from a party your hardcore lives will revert to the value before you joined. New parties will not inherit the host's personal lives unless they are lower than the default.
