Description: This collection is a correspondence by Paul d'Estournelles de Constant (1852-1924), a French Senator and diplomat, to Nicholas Murray Butler (1862-1947), an American University President and diplomat, written during World War I and after (1914-1924), to keep him informed about the affairs of the war, the nation, his family, his political endeavor, etc.
Content: This collection contains a corpus of letters (519 as of now) and indexes giving extra information about the places, persons, organizations and works/books mentioned in the letters.
There is also an XML file, referencing all the letters from the collection, meant for correspSearch, that help search for scholarly editions of letters, as well as an XML file, referencing the date of each letter from the corpus, to create a timeline of the collection.
