Explain what purpose a component serves in React?	In this project, the different components were the different classes we created that worked together. Components let you split the UI into independent, reusable pieces, and think about each piece in isolation.
How does adding dynamic content to a web page in React compare to jQuery?	A big difference between the two is that React works through the "virtual DOM", which is basically just the data about the HTML elements rather than the elements themselves, whereas jQuery interacts with the DOM directly.
How did you use props in this project?	Props was used to pass around variables. One such example is passing the timeline json data.
