  1. Downloaded zip of master branch ( 0.7.2 - 2024-01-25 )
  2. Unzipped, removed "-master" from folder name.
  3. Compressed folder resulting in pmpro-add-member-admin.zip
  4. Uploaded to WordPress via GUI (WP version 6.4.3)
  5. Got "Incomplete Archive" error

Nevermind - this turned out to be an incompatibility between WordPress and Mac OS’s zip method
