I am curious about the Thermostat pane on WSK. Setting temp & humidity is easy, but the setting section is interesting. How does this work. I have a SKpath for it, but it doesn't appear to change when using the buttons, so I need a better understanding of how it works. Is it adjustable?
Here's my thinking: In my old boat, I had a wabasto heater that had a Sure Marine thermostat kit on it. The thermostat was essentially a mercury switch to make a connection to tell the heater to start up/shut down. My idea was to use the Ruuvitags for temp sensing and a Shelly switch to initiate the heating sequence in place of the old mercury switch. Then I could use Node-Red and some simple logic to have the system controlled by SK. I just didn't understand how the settings works in the Therm Pane to be able to set the temp.
Now I'm looking at a new boat with a diesel heater and a separate air conditioner. I plan to set it up similar to my old one. Seems sensible that I could set them all up in a similar fashion to auto control all the environmentals with SK and simple nod-red logic.
So how does the Thermostat Pane interact with SignalK? What do I need for it to make the temp setting adjustments needed to trigger a shelly switch to close?

Thanks.
