[N64] Is there a way to change the save type of a repro from 16Kb EEPROM to 4Kb

First off, I made some updates to the wiki entry on reflashing N64 repros based on things I’ve learned. Hopefully, those edits are alright.

As for the main topic: is it possible to change the save type of 16Kb repros to 4Kb? I have both variants here, and they appear completely identical—same board, same chips, everything looks the same. So, I assume the save type must be programmed somehow. That’s why I’m wondering if it’s possible to change the save type on these.
