I use epubs mostly for studying, and one must-have for me is text-highlighting and note taking.

Is this planned?

Hi, unfortunately the project is in "stand-by mode", meaning that I just maintain the app on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, but at the moment I do not have the resources to develop new features (or even clean the current code up).

In the past I did some experiments with http://annotatorjs.org/ , and it was a viable option. However, integrating it in the current code base will require a fair amount of work that I cannot do at the moment.

Apologies :(
