Sounds like a permissions problem. I've seen that in cases where the initial testing and setting up of Butler and Butler SOS was done using someone's personal Windows account, then when the tools are deployed as Windows services (using some other account) there are issues. I would do things like these:

Compliments of the season!
We are trying to fully implement the Butler service, though when trying to run as a windows service, it does not write a log and it does not write to InfluxDB.
The service does start when I setup as described in this link: https://ptarmiganlabs.com/running-butler-tools-as-windows-services/
but no activity on Influx or on Grafana where I'm monitoring the services.
When I run butler from command line though it does run and writes to Influx, but does not write a log. Any ideas where I'm going wrong?
