Hi NTU team,
Thanks for the update. The general feedback from the management is that we may need to improve on the documentation to communicate the project progess appropriately with a
coherent logical flow.
For instance, on the three approaches for modeling demand uncertainty:
i) Relaxation with McCornick envelop: what was the rationalae, approach, implementation logic, with appropriate references (As we are through with this, we can be a bit hand-wavy).
ii) SDP relaxation: based on the findings of (i) what is the rationalae for choosing this (why this) approach, the value we hope to have. Thereafter we may describe the implementation logic, with appropriate references.
e.g., A Semi-Definite Programming Approach for Robust Tracking, Shtern, Ben-Tal (2016) provides a stylized treatment. A seminal paper on convex relaxation (although from a different domain): https://arxiv.org/pdf/1405.0766
Finally comes result reproduction part.
iii) Conic relaxation: Why (iii) over (ii) rationalae, the value we hope to have, thereafter approach, implementation logic, with appropriate references and so on complying with the flow.
I think this practice will enable us to better manage the stakeholders expections.
Thanks.
Best,
Debdeep
