Hi all,

I just came across this Zotero plugin and am interested in checking it out.

I wonder if it is possible to support Openrouter? I have an account there, and it is easy to access different LLMs from OpenAI, Claude, and others.

Best,
Jake

Is Openrouter api the same as OpenAI?
We support customized LLM API like OpenAI.

If you are Windows user, after registration you can select 'customized' from top left popup slection, and then fill your Openrouter API URL, API KEY and the model which you want to use.

I have found Openrouter supports the OpenAI API, so you can try to configure your Openrouter account as below:

  1. First select the item of 'Customized' as the following picture:

  2. Then configure your customized Openrouter API URL, Model and API KEY

The latest v0.0.1 binary of papersgpt-for-zotero also supports customized LLM API for Mac users.
