Hi, I've downloaded an SVG file and tried opening it with Paint.net with this plugin installed. After clicking OK in the import dialog the progress bar won't stop moving until I click Cancel. After that the dialog closes and the image is actually opened, though.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Launch Paint.net
  2. File > Open > Select SVG file
  3. Click OK

Now the progress bar will keep loading

  1. Click Cancel eventually

The image will be opened.

It doesn't seem to matter how long I wait with cancelling. The image will still open.
If I cancel before clicking OK, I get an exception instead (System.OperationCanceledException: Canceled upon your request.), which is unusual but fine I guess.

Details

Operating System: Windows 11 Enterprise 23H2
Paint.net version: Paint.net Classic 5.1 (Stable 5.100.9082.35298)
Plugin version: v1.0.6.0
Installation: I've downloaded the ZIP file and unzipped it into the FileTypes subfolder of the Paint.net installation folder.
The SVG file in question (linking it here, since it'll be huge else): https://discord.com/assets/f8d29964957a6eb725af.svg

Is this intended? Anything I can do?

There is a compatibility issue with Paint.NET 5.1 and later. I'm working on a fix and will publish a new release soon.

Thanks for reporting this.
