Description

Hello,
Today I have tried to run the Firefly data importer, for which I have connected the gocardless API.
Unfortunately, I'm getting an "Whoops! 500" error after giving the credentials (ID & key). When I come back to the home page of the importer, the button is now red and says "The GoCardless API is configured incorrectly and cannot be used to import data."

I am running the version 1.5.2 in a docker environment (RunTipi)

I have checked on Gocardless admin console and the ID & secret are still active, and I have a connection with my bank.

Expected behaviour

The app should continue to the next step of the import after being connected to gocardless api

Steps to reproduce

Open importer
Enter the gocardless ID & Key
The app fails with error 500

Additional info

The error seems to be in the AuthenticateController.php:99

This happens when the data importer can't recover or store cookies on the client side. If you browse to the index of the data importer, does the session identifier change every refresh?

Hi James, thanks for taking the time to look at the issue :)
To answer your question, If I refresh the main page (the one with the 3 blue import options), the session identifier doesn't reset. If I click on "Start Over", then I get a new identifier.
I tried with both Chrome & Safari, both in regular or incognito mode, from macOS.

It does look indeed that the issue is probably more related to my host where the container is running; I did a new installation locally on my machine and the API and import are working properly.
I don't really know what can be the issue to be honest, so in last resort I will also perform a clean install on the original host.
