In order to identify a file, a user is now forced to click through 3 input fields: Action Type, Tool and Action. I think this could easily be reduced to one field only (Action Type):

  • JHOVE identification only covers a very limited number of formats, so I think it would be reasonable if Action Type "Identify" would imply the Tool "FIDO" (at least as a default choice).
