Hey @BartMassey, Thing is, I'm not sure about the policy and implications of renaming a crate on crates.io. I could take a look though. |

So i asked the folks at crates.io, and here's the response I got: We do not currently support renaming crates, in order to keep the registry as immutable as possible. What you can do is republish with the new name, yank all the versions of the old name, and publish one more version to the old name with a description directing people to the new name. At least it's feasible, but it's not straightforward either. Do you think it's worth the trouble, @BartMassey ? |
