Mullvad Browser thinks it's not the default browser despite being set as default.

To reproduce

  1. Close Mullvad Browser
  2. Set Mullvad Browser as your default browser

  3. Open Mullvad Browser
  4. See Make Mullvad Browser your default browser popup
    image
  5. Go to settings
  6. See Mullvad Browser is not your default browser message
    image
  7. Click Make Default... button
  8. Nothing happens

Additional Information

  • Mullvad Browser version: 14.0.4 (based on Mozilla Firefox 128.6.0esr)
  • OS: Ubuntu 24.04.1 LTS
