A lot of the language from the Code of Conduct is inspired by and, in some cases, directly quoted from other open source community statements and codes of conduct. For example the p5.js community statement. We should have a section at the bottom and/or a separate page citing our sources. @sekrystal is this something you would perhaps be interested in working on?

I've gone through our notes and separated all of our referenced documents into two categories: drawn language from, and inspired by. Right now that document lives here, and it's fairly long, so I'm inclined to keep it as a separate page.
This is great, thank you @sekrystal! I agree a separate doc makes sense, let's make sure we link to it from a prominent place in the CoC document itself. I think you should feel free to move this doc to GitHub now! I'll message you separately to figure out the best process for that.
