[Bug]: Watch mode button doesn't show active when test selected

Steps to reproduce

1. Open UI mode
2. Select any tree item in the test selection sidebar
3. Click on the watch mode icon
4. Notice that the icon didn't change
5. Changing the tree selection will show that watch mode is indeed enabled on that item

Expected behavior

Watch mode should be properly indicated, even when the tree item is selected.

Actual behavior

Watch mode icon is not highlighted.
