My Raspberry PI 4B does not recognize the Raspberry Pi Touch Display 2 connected with DSI with MainsailOS installed. It does however detect my TV with HDMI.
What did you expect to happen
I want to see the boot process when starting the PI, and get to the console on the screen when it has booted.
How to reproduce
Flash a SD card with MainsailOS with the Raspberry PI Imager and boot the PI with the display attached. Blank screen.
Then boot the PI with a SD card flashed with the Raspberry PI OS Lite and boot the PI after swapping SD card. The screen works out of the box on first boot.
Additional information
We are now two people that have tried this display with each our RPI, and both of us see nothing but a blank screen after turning on the PI with MainsailOS.
I have tried changing the "dtoverlay" in the /boot/config.txt, installing the GUI for the PI and and update+upgrade. All this after installing KlipperScreen. The MainsailOS test on the other PI was a completely new flash without anything done, and on both units the screen works with a plain Raspberry PI OS Lite install. I believe this rules out any defects in the screen itself, and might indicate issues on the OS but i might be wrong.
