I have test the images you listed, all these image have same problem. I think the problem is not with Linux distributions, this problem may have been introduced during the kasm installation phase. |

actually there's a similar issue when using swiss german keyboards trying to make caps lock ÖÄÜ. it won't work without enabling IME input at all. when IME input is enabled it works sometimes.. like you can enter the same key 5 times and 2 times it's big two times it's small öäü. but now the crazy thing about it.. when I connect using a windows client using chrome it works even without IME input. |

Current Behavior
I am using docker deployed linuxserver/obsidian:latest 2403.0.0 with environment variables :
When i enable IME input mode, and input some chinese I get a lot of error report in docker log:
Then i cant input new chinese words anymore(old chinese words that i have ever typed into and english still valid). I looked up some solutions, tigervnc seems to have a similar problem? TigerVNC/tigervnc#93, I tried to execute the setxkbmap command in the terminal, it works, but after a short period of time i get Failure adding new keysym again , I must execute setxkbmap command again to prolong the time.
Then i tested this base image with same config, the problem remains as it is.
I also tested the kasmweb/chromium image by Kasm Technologies, the problem did not arise.
So I don't think the problem is KasmVNC
