No sequences are shown/selectable

After some small changes to the installation (fixing the group and user permission for plugin.fpp-nfl and making all the ESPN links in functions.inc.php use https and not http) I can get the plug in to mostly work. This results in scores/data being shown correctly.

However I can not select or choose any sequences for touchdowns, field goals, etc. I have playlists setup but I have no sequences (.fseq) inside the content setup tab as I have matrix LED panels. I also do not see a way to create a sequence (.fesq) inside fpp.

Is this plug-in only able to use sequences (.fseq) and not playlists? Or if applicable is there a way to make sure it so one can choose playlists instead of sequences (.fseq)?
