How to disable the animation display of the bar when using record scroll plugin?

I am using Record Plugin's scrollingWaveform mode.

When I use my micrphone, the wave looks very flickering. This is a 240fps slow-motion video(forgive me for using phone camera).

In comparison to the animation of the voice memos on iPhone, I found that it looks unclear because every bar in wavesurfer first shrinks and then expands when changing. Is there a way for me to turn off this animation? I want it to smoothly move to the left.
