OUT OF STOCK responses while drop is happening

I was watching a Twitch stream of a Best Buy drop this morning. Many alerts for Nvidia and Radeon series in the stream. At the same time, I was running streetmerchant on an 8-thread i7 4790 & Win 10. I didn't once see an alert; all responses were OUT OF STOCK. What could be going on here?

I should add that last night I was seeing Newegg alerts and auto-browser-openings happening while running on my Mac. But running on my PC today seems sort of fruitless. The only dependencies that npm was unable to install were a couple that Twilio depends on that seem Mac-dependent. But streetmerchant ran fine without them because I'm not using Twilio integration.

Nvm, I saw an Asus alert auto-open in the browser (on one of the rare occasions that the Asus store's webserver actually responded). So it must be working. Still not sure why I wasn't seeing any alerts from BB though while I was watching a drop happen on Twitch.
