General feedback,

  • wiki preparation made for nicer pace through the course.
  • in person meeting would have been preferable
  • if issues arose on your computer it was easy to fall behind

General tasks:

  • ask for stockassessment package maintainers to modify DESCRIPTION file to inlcude ellipse, TMB and Matrix
  • send worksheet.R clean examples to WKTAF repo.
  • advertise user group teams somewhere.
  • clarify TAF sec. people at Benchmark meetings - add these to the project board so we know when they are.

  • make a page specifically on how to set up R, Rstudio, Git and GitHub.
  • A page on the installation of useful / suggested R packages - stockassessment, FLR, sf, ss3.
  • A page on how to create a repo on GitHub, create a new project in Rstudio, clone, and then push and pull
  • make wiki page on TAF -> SAG
  • make a page / example on create FLStock objects from different assessments
  • fix the stockassessment example page - missing utilities.R and template.dox DATA.bib entry.
