I posted my comment on the wrong tab (span-zoompan's) thinking I was on this project instead.
In any case the question still remains as we are using your plugin and it would be really good if support for touch devices could be implemented. Do you still have plans for that?

Hi hello. Yes of course you can. Sorry I missed your request; I did not read it until today.
By the way your plugin worked really well on a real event we had for which we used allocated seating using snap.svg.zpd
Great work.

Might i inquire as to where snap.svg.zpd stands regarding the support of "touch devices".
Last commit to 0.1 beta branch seems of about 3 months ago, and touch does not seem to be planned for that.

This library has some cool features i could use, but i can't do without support for touch :(
I respect contributers time put into it and my inquiry is not more than that. Unfortunately i'm not skilled in JavaScript and me contributing PRs would probably make things worse ;)

Hi @marcodings
Thanks for remind us about this issue.

In fact, touch event support is quite difficult for us to implement.
There are lot of Issue that we should fix and enhance to provide our first stable version v0.1.0.

I understand that the touch event is important, I'm considering add this feature in the next next stable version. Please give us some time on this.

Your idea your suggestion inspire us and we will keep up to date according to the society contribution.

Please stay tuned, we will add the feature ASAP and will notice you when It's done.

Thank you for your understanding.

I've had a play interfacing snap with hammer.js in the past, which seemed fine, it could be an avenue for some to have a fiddle with.

@huei90 I am willing to put in time, i'm definitely and experienced coder, just not a js-guru. I need to get this running in some way in the next 2 month for a charity project "Youth education rare diseases" where we try to explain rare diseases to children by having 2 protagonists travel and "svg-world".
Maybe we can talk offline where i could start/contribute if that helps

Hi @marcodings,
I might be able to work some more on the beta-branch in the coming weeks. It proposes a new plugin structure which might make it way simpler to add touch interaction.

Stay tuned..
