Am I mistaken, or is there no npm for highlightjs-wgsl? I can't find one, but it would be really nice if there was so that any updates/fixes to this can be kept up with more easily.

Although tbh, now that WebGPU is available by default (in Chrome at least, and it is only going to increase in common use as it grows as the replacement for WebGL/GLSL), it seems that this should be merged into the core language packs for the base highlightjs package.

(That seems like it should be straightforward since it's apparently managed by the same github account, and thus doesn't require multiple project managers to get together and agree for it to happen.)

Not including this in the base highlightjs package would be much more understandable for some new Fortran variant, or something else that isn't need for most users and may only have a fringe following, but given the close relationship between WGSL and JavaScript, and the fact that GLSL is already included in the base, and that WGSL is the future that's already here, it really does seem like this should just be included in the base packages languages.

Is there a plan for any of this? I assume maybe there is and it's just not been gotten to, but it seemed worth making a ticket for since highlightjs works for/on everything in my tech stack EXCEPT for WGSL.
