I keep getting metrics on startup of the application but then they disappear after a while. I'm running a spark streaming application EMR 5.5.0. Has anyone else experienced a similar behaviour? Thanks

I've encountered a similar problem, but if I check the JSON endpoint the metrics are there, they just seem to not be reported to Graphite all the time.

@slyons I think I got it. Just created a PR in apache/spark apache/spark#19210
