How to search for twitter accounts / handles using twitteR

Hi

I'm looking for something similar to searchTwitter function... but to search for twitter accounts instead of tweets.
Is there a way to look for twitter accounts by searching on name with the of twitteR in R?

It looks like there is now and endpoint for that. Will add it when I get a chance. For my future info (or someone kind enough to submit a PR - the endpoint is users/search)
