random effects

Hello,

I’m using GEMMA and I read on page 5 of the manual (paragraph 1.3.2 Multivariate Linear Mixed Model) “U is an n by d matrix of random effects;” but I haven’t found any application of the implementation of random effects using a separate file as is “-c namefile” for fixed effects.
Please suggest the correct way to use random effects.
