Changing Coordinate Origin in Grid System

Hi all,

I'm aiming to build a kind of scale using the grid system to model space and pixels (like image below).

but I was wondering if I want to set a value in a cell, I need to use the cell itself not the x values. Or it is possible to change the origin of the top left default origin.
Will it be possible to model that in gama? if yes should I use the grid system or just the location of the space?
