Steps to reproduce

  1. Where are you starting? What can you see?
  2. What do you click?
  3. More steps…
Like every day, I launched the Element Flatpak app on my desktop.

It told me this :

Capture d’écran du 2023-11-30 11-31-27

So I clicked on send "logs" and it told me to create an issue here to upload the logs I guess. 🤷

Outcome

What did you expect?

Element to start as usual, synchronizing everything.

What happened instead?

What I said above.

Operating system

Fedora 39

Application version

Element im.riot.Riot 1.11.50 stable flathub system

How did you install the app?

From Flathub: https://flathub.org/fr/apps/im.riot.Riot

Homeserver

converser.eu

Will you send logs?

Yes

The Flatpak package isn't maintained by us, seek help from https://github.com/flathub/im.riot.Riot/

@t3chguy it would be very helpful to get someone familiar with the element desktop source to look at this

Also seems to be a general problem unrelated to the packaging element-hq/element-desktop#1568
