A room is continually highlighted (and pings me) after restart

Steps to reproduce

1. Start Element Desktop.
2. A room containing a message with a custom keyword followed by a leave event is highlighted, even though I previously read it / marked it as read multiple times.

The message is in the main timeline (not a threaded message).

Outcome

What did you expect?

Message should no longer trigger a highlight since I already read it.

What happened instead?

Message triggers a highlight each time I restart the client.
