When editing the content for #1, I found I was frequently butting heads with the fact that this was a personal narrative about one specific experiment using hardware that I didn't have. While I more or less replicated the process, it was tempting for me to try and write in the first person about what I did. Unfortunately, having two people write in the first person about similar but not quite the same things became confusing quickly.
I think this documentation fills a definite need. But I also think that in order to attract feedback and improvements, it has to be less of a writeup of one particular experiment and more of a manual on what pieces to assemble and how. Perhaps with an appendix describing specific experiments.
Thanks for your work! This was exactly what I was looking for!
