Tab character

The Tab key currently moves between fields. I have a feeling this will be a sticking point for many writers, who will expect it to insert a tab character. At the moment, there's no way to create indented paragraphs, except by hitting space a bunch of times. Any ideas about how to handle this? (I once wrote a "Tab" plugin for TinyMCE, but it's a pretty awful solution :-/ )
