sometimes i go months without editing my dotfiles or this repo, its good to keep things in sync, re: edit dotfiles and run dot to update machine instead of one off install/runs/edits.

to help with this, the dot command by default should do nothing but show options
2 options for now

edit
run

edit opens dot repo for edting
run executes the dot files
