The corruption mechanic is irrelevant in WotR. It never becomes a factor in the game, nor does it provide a deterrent for resting.
Describe the solution you'd like
It would be great to have a multiplier for corruption to make resting decisions more meaningful. In addition to making resting/corruption more challenging, this multiplier could also be reduced below 1x for someone that wants to lessen it without turning it off completely.
Describe alternatives you've considered
A cost to resting in gold based on level, but that seems harder to balance.
