The following is a set of gudelines for contributing to the Brooklyn Connect Project, anywhere from on Belmont Avnue in Brownsville, to halfway across the world.
- This project is built and guided by you!
- Submit blog posts of your work and experience to the Tech Lab Site by logging in through Siteleaf, selecting "How Data Moves" and adding a "New Post" using the "Posts button on the right side.
- Leave comments on the Curriculum Guide
- Get a library card from any local library branch by filling out the online form, then picking your card up from a librarian. This will give you access to print resources on any topic you may be interested in, as well as online courses through sites like Lynda.com.
- Starting in mid-April, we'll begin learning how to build our own local wireless network.
- Check out the detailed curriculum guide and leave comments on topic areas you think should be added or changed
- leave comments with links to any other lesson plans or curricula you think could be useful
- Email Maya Wagoner at [email protected] to set up a call to walk through what worked, didn't work, and was surprising about the first round.
- Make a copy of the Curriculum Guide, and update it as you see fit
