My Esp32 board consumes about 130 mA in both UDP and ESP-NOW modes. It will deplete a 1000mAh battery in less than 8 hours, which undermines the purpose of having a portable walkie-talkie.
So, my question is: Is it possible to lower board's power consumption? Perhaps reducing the listen interval or adding sleep periods?
As i see it, it would be easier to adapt to losing the few seconds of the audio message than to plugging the thing into the wall every few hours.
