From John Nagy:

  1. It would be helpful/useful to be able to select multiple sessions from a single log file and link them together to see how the guiding evolves throughout the night. I, and I'm sure I'm not alone, often break my night into multiple sessions due to my changing filters or temperature related refocusing so I ended up with each session typically being an hour long. I'm an engineer but not a software developer so what I'm asking for may be easier said than done. I was envisioning a check box in the first column where the user could select/de-select sessions and then the plot could show them stitched together below.
  2. A secondary addition related to the above would be a running/moving average of guide performance with user selectable time span: 60s, 120s, 240s, 300s etc. With this feature the user could see if the guiding/seeing was getting better/worse as the night went on. Particularly useful if you could pull off change # 1 because then you could look at several hours, maybe before the meridian and after. That combined with the corrections might help users see if they missed the balance on their rigs.
