[FEATURE] Some Calendar Improvements

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I am frustrated when the notification about the laptop charging status appears with a noticeable delay after plugging in the charger. I would like to minimize this delay as much as possible.

Describe the solution you'd like

1. Laptop Charging Notification

   • Ensure the notification for charging appears immediately or with minimal delay after connecting the charger.

2. Calendar Improvements

   • Clicking on an event should open the calendar with the details of that specific event.
   • For ongoing events, display a “live” activity indicator:
   • A simple icon indicating the current event on the left.
   • The remaining time until the event ends on the right.
   • If two events overlap, show the remaining time for the longer event (excluding all-day events).
   • Add the ability to create new events directly in the calendar.

Additional context
These features would greatly enhance the user experience, making notifications and calendar interactions more intuitive and efficient.

In the future, it would be heplful if you split the two different suggestions into two different issues so each can be tracked independently.

For the charging notification, I’m not certain if this is the reason behind your notification appearing delayed, as I haven’t looked into it yet. However, the notification isn’t triggered when the power adapter is plugged in. Instead, it’s triggered when the laptop is actually charging. You can verify this by checking Apple’s reporting of the charge status through the battery icon.
