[BUG] Mirror not working after first use

Describe the bug
Typically after using the mirror and closing either the laptop or the notch, the mirror will not open again, it will only show a black screen. The camera light comes on but nothing is displayed. The only thing that fixes the issue is completely closing boringnotch and reopening it. This is on a 2022 M2 Air 13 Inch.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open mirror, then close it
2. Close/lock laptop
3. Log back in and try and use mirror
4. Nothing is displayed

Expected behavior
Mirror should be able to be reopened after using it.

I have the same issue on Macbook pro m4 pro 2024.

same issue here on macbook air m3... Mirror just shows a black screen
