During active storms, the RunStartTime in ASGS is usually 3 hours earlier than the advisory time.
This would be 00, 06,12,18. While this is not set in stone, 99% of our runs work that way. For the CERA app, the RunStartTime is currently tested to be earlier than the advisory time.

Thank you, this is also a good consideration and I think it'd be wise for us to conform to the time interval norms of the NHC. I am not sure what this looks like for accelerated runs (e.g., where the time intervals are less than 6 hours wrt the nowification) but for "standard" runs and drills we should stick to these norms. I appreciate you pointing that out.
