This is an issue with conflicting .event-details across the different pages. On the calendar page, the preview menu for a certain task uses .event-details, but requires a white border. The dashboard Recent Feedback section also uses .event-details. This will unfortunately require major restructuring of the style sheet; requiring the separation of code for each unique page on Canvas. This will most likely take several days to complete.

Recent Feedback items have an outline

There may be a fix to this by increasing specificity. The overlap for the border starts from the pop up for clicking an event in the calendar (I believe). Currently (I believe once again), Only the event-details class is targeted instead of event-details-header and event-details-content classes. This implementation may temporarily fix this issue. Although, I would still much prefer to separate CanvasDarkMode by the different web pages in the long run.
