I can answer 3 at least, if you have HidHide enabled the game only sees what is input by the virtual controller, DS4Windows applies any modifications it needs to to the real controllers inputs before outputting them to the virtual controller, so there is no way short of snooping specifically in on DS4Windows to see any modifications that are being done As far as the game is concerned, what it sees from the virtual controller is what you are inputting |

Edit: Double checked and it does work as expected. Any input outside the assigned dead zone counts as maximum output.

This is a reboot of a thread I made on an account that was nuked (temp email used ;))
I see that stick sensitivity can only go to .5 bit can it go lower? If not, what is the limitation? Other areas of the software allow for settings as low as .01, but sensitivity of stick under radial option doesn’t. If set to axial, then both X and Y can go to .1 I think. (Going from memory since I am not in front of my PC)
Does the sensitivity cancel out custom Bézier curve ? Or vice versa?
How does sensitivity interact with or cancel out “Max zone” or “anti deadzone” settings? If at all.
Does a game like rocket league ignore DS4Windows input somehow, if values are set a specific way ? (This is a super deep question and I’m aware it could be a big rabbit hole). Sometimes it feels as if changes I make Are not being noticed in game. Maybe it’s just placebo.
Does reducing sensitivity actually limit the final value of the sticks or just slow them down? Example: in Rocket League the car has a certain turning radius. I still want to be able to use the full radius of the car, I just want it to get there slower.
Some settings such as Max Zone (I think, going from memory) allow for a 0.00 value. Does this mean a true 0.00 or is this just indicating that the setting is turned off or cancelled out?
Ultimate goal is extremely low sensitivity in game. Lower than the in game sliders might allow if DS4Windows wasn’t being used. But without compromising the overall/total ability of the stick, just to make it slower and more precise. I need it to respond immediately, but I want it to go at a snails pace when I do so.
I understand deadzone and that is not what I need to adjust.
Does windows have a floor/ceiling when it comes to stick sensitivity that might somehow be limiting DS4Windows and that is why only .5 is achievable.
I hope I’ve been clear and someone can help me understand these things thanks everyone.
