FIXED the face topology doesn't cover the sides of the eyes at all angles. I moved inner eyelid verts back
FIXED UV mapping for nostrils doesn't line up with legacy skins and template. remodeled the entire nostril area to more closely match the old Robin Williams templates. It makes the nose worse for animating. It's a compromise.
there's something wrong with the underarms - it looks fine in Blender, so it's a conflict between the system avatar armature and mesh body weights. Need to check the MeshAttachmentWeightingReferenceV1.1.ods data and figure out what the right fix is.
Eyebrow height sliders move in opposite direction than expected, but Arc and Points move as expected, so that's a mystery.
small clip on eyelash topology. I snapped that edge to the eyelid, so it either came unsnapped or another vert is in the way.
Shape sliders:
Fat is pushing shoulders up - CLAVICLE weights probably
Eyeballs and eyelashes do not follow Head stretch - need to add some vertex groups from the spreadsheet list
Head shape slider is not deforming correctly and inside of the mouth not following correctly either. yikes
Head length is clipping the eyeballs and moving the mouth the wrong way
Eyeballs and eyelashes not following Face Shear
Forehead Angle not deforming correctly and inside mouth not following correctly
Brow size clipping the eyeballs
Cheekbone slider goes too far up, over the eyes.
Eye spacing clips eyeballs at outer extreme - I think system avatar does too
Upper eyelid fold affecting the edge of the eyelid too much, should be just affecting the eyelid crease
Puffy eyelid going too far to the edge of lower lid and not enough below the eye
Eyelash length and Eye Pop not supported for mesh
Ear Angle and Attached earlobes not supported for mesh. Ear TIps working!
Nostril Division not working, I'll have to look that one up
the rest of the nose is working OK - not the same as system head, but good enough to make a distinctive face. Except something odd with the way light hits below the sides of the nose - check normals
Mouth position needs work, clipping with teeth
Lip cleft looks strange, and that might be my topology
Jaw shape not working and I'm not sure I want to fix it. too many bones in that part of the face
Jaw jut needs work; it's bad in system avatar too, so I don't know how fixable it is.
chin cleft not supported for mesh
breast size needs work, big and small. There are a lot of xml parameters for that, taking different approaches to the two volumes that actually control it. But fixable.
smooth out top of love handles. Actually looks fine for Victorian corseting, which is what we mainly use it for.
smooth out belly. I think we have a shot at making this OK, which it never was on the system avatar or Ruth. The Belly slider uses both PELVIS and BELLY vertex weights, so it's tricky, but at least teh topology is OK now.
Butt is working about as well as it can, I think. The BUTT volume for mesh is only used for small butt. PELVIS is used for big butt, so it conflicts somewhat with making that work along with BELLY. I think it's doable.
Everything else looked OK to me, but we need a lot more eyeballs on it looking for problems.
The UV mapping looked OK to me, but I've been looking at it for months and might have missed something.
NOTE: skins with heavy shading under the breasts and butt will not work with Max and EEP lighting. Not a good idea to try to fix that with the UV map - the topology wasn't built for it.
